Smoothies are refreshing, nutritious and delicious.

There are no strict rules in preparing smoothies. Really, you can combine any fruits, veggies, herbs and nuts, in any proportions and quantities. In addition, smoothies can camouflage some healthy, but maybe not favourite ingredients, like it does for me with spinach! :)

LET YOUR CREATIVITY make SOMETHING YUMMY! :)

5 smoothies for the best breakfast:

    1. The Green Smoothie:

    • 1 tsp Chia seeds

    Cooking method:

    • Pour the apple juice into the blender.
    • Wash and add the spinach into the blender.
    • Add the frozen banana into the blender. If you didn’t prepare some frozen banana, you can peel and cut normal banana into big slices and put it into the blender together with a couple of ice cubes.
    • Cut the avocado in half and carefully remove the pip. Using the table-spoon remove the half of avocado from its skin and add it into the blender.
    • Cut the lime in half. Squeeze ½ lime juice into the blender.

    3. the White smoothie

    INGREDIENTS:

    • Milk – 500 ml
    • Small sweet potato (roasted) – 1 pcs / or ½ small sweet roasted butternut squash
    • Handful of porridge oats
    • Handful of pecan nuts (you can use any nuts you like)
    • Frozen banana -1 pcs
    • Banana – 1 pcs
    • Yogurt – 2 Tbsp

    COOKING METHOD:

NB! For this nutritious breakfast smoothie, which has all minerals and vitamins you need, you have to roast a small sweet potato or a small sweet butternut squash in advance. Bake either of these in the oven a day before.

    • Peel and cut the sweet potato in half. Add it into the blender. If you have chosen butternut squash instead, then cut it in half and deseed with a spoon. Scrub one of the halves from the skin using the table-spoon, and add it into the blender.
    • Add handful of porridge oats and handful of pecan nuts (or any other nuts of your choice) into the blender.
    • Peel the banana and cut it into big slices. Add the banana into the blender.
    • Add the frozen banana into the blender.

NB! How to prepare the frozen banana: peel the banana and cut it into medium size slices. Place them in one layer evenly on the tray or on the baking paper and put into the freezer. On the next day put your frozen banana into the zipper plastic bag and store in the freezer.

    • Pour the milk and yogurt into the blender.
    • Secure the lid and give nice blitz until smooth.
    • One more perfect breakfast is ready! Bon appetite! :)
